OPENING HOURS
We are open every Sunday from April 27 to October 26. In July and August we are also open every Saturday.
Opening hours are 12:00-16:00.
In addition, we are of course open as shown in our activity calendar on a number of other days and times throughout the year!
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The museum is located in the heart of Bergen, within walking distance of the city center. If you are coming by car, there is street parking at Møhlenpris. There is also a parking garage at Marineholmen, a five-minute walk away.
If you want to use public transport, the bus to the Møhlenpris stop at Puddefjordsbroen or the light rail to the Florida stop are good options, about a five-minute walk from BTM. Alternatively, see www.skyss.no.
You can also take the tram to the museum. The tram stops at Engen by the Ibsen statue, at Johanneskirken and at the Natural History Museum at Muséplass. The trip takes about ten minutes.
The tram and the museum are not universally designed.

We would like to point out that in case of large crowds, we may run continuously, meaning that the tram will run more frequently than the scheduled times.
Tickets are purchased upon arrival at the museum, or on the tram. We accept cash, vipps and card payments.
THE TICKET IS VALID FOR BOTH THE MUSEUM AND AS A DAY TICKET FOR THE TRAM.
