The tram takes you to the museum, and you can hop on at Engen, by Johanneskirken and Muséplass. The first trip leaves from Engen at 11:00, and the tram runs from Engen every hour, and from Møhlenpris every quarter hour.
As usual, you can use the ticket all day.
As is tradition, we offer snacks and some food. We have Christmas porridge, tangerines, juice, mulled wine and marshmallows. Weather permitting, we will make a bonfire outside to keep warm and grill marshmallows. As always, everything is included in the ticket – which is only paid by adults.
We also have some creative exhibitors who are creating a small Christmas market in the hall, to create a little extra atmosphere. There's something for everyone here!
There will be light entertainment. As is tradition, Leslie and Tarjei will come by and play and entertain us.
We also hope to have a visit from a choir. Do you know anyone? Contact us!
We will also drive the steam engine, and a tin soldier maker will demonstrate the production of one of the oldest toys still in existence, and these can also be purchased on site.
We will be there, as last year, with an almost real horse and sleigh. Santa Claus is guaranteed to be the real deal, and may have something in his sack for the little ones. Of course, you can have your picture taken with Santa Claus too!
